Question 1

How much does toilet hire cost?

Accepted Answer

Standard portable toilets are quoted per unit per week (with a cheaper stepped rate past a month), while VIP flushing trailers and executive restroom trailers are quoted per event day. Delivery and scheduled servicing are included in the rate you're given. Unit type, quantity, hire length and distance from our Centurion yard are what move the number.

Question 2

How fast can I get a quote?

Accepted Answer

Within the hour during business hours, and often within minutes on WhatsApp. Send your dates, quantity and suburb to 076 564 8963 or use any quote form on the site.

Question 3

Are there hidden costs?

Accepted Answer

No. Delivery, collection and servicing appear as clearly-labelled lines on the written quote before you commit. Optional extras — attendants, generators, extra water tanks, out-of-hours delivery — are separate lines you can remove.

Question 4

Do you invoice businesses on account?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Construction companies, event organisers, security firms and government departments can be set up with monthly invoicing and purchase-order references. Ask us to open an account when you request your first quote.

Question 5

Which areas do you cover?

Accepted Answer

Our yard is in Centurion, so same-day delivery covers Pretoria, Centurion, Midrand, Johannesburg, Sandton, Randburg, Fourways, Roodepoort, Soweto, Kempton Park, Benoni, Boksburg, Germiston, Alberton, Krugersdorp and Edenvale. We also run scheduled deliveries into Limpopo, Mpumalanga and North West.

Question 6

Can you deliver the same day?

Accepted Answer

In most of Gauteng, yes, subject to fleet availability. Call or WhatsApp early in the day and we'll confirm a delivery window before you commit.

Question 7

Do you deliver on weekends and public holidays?

Accepted Answer

Yes — most event work happens on weekends. Saturday, Sunday and public-holiday deliveries are planned as part of the booking; out-of-hours delivery is quoted upfront.

Question 8

What access do you need on site?

Accepted Answer

We need a reasonably level standing and a route wide enough for a towing vehicle and trailer. Send a photo of the gate and intended spot if you're unsure — we'll confirm before dispatch rather than arrive and fail.

Question 9

How many toilets do I need?

Accepted Answer

As a working rule: one standard unit per 100 guests for a 4-hour dry event, one per 50 guests once there's a bar, one per 40 for a full-day festival, and one unit per 15 workers on a construction site. Weddings work best on VIP units at one per 50 guests, minimum two.

Question 10

What's the difference between a portable toilet and a VIP unit?

Accepted Answer

A standard portable is a chemical toilet — sealed tank, no plumbing, ideal for sites and markets. A VIP unit is a trailer-mounted flushing toilet with running water, hand basin, mirror, lighting and ventilation, built for weddings, corporate functions and film work.

Question 11

How often are units serviced?

Accepted Answer

Construction toilets are serviced weekly as standard. Multi-day events are serviced daily or twice daily depending on usage. Every service includes waste removal, chemical top-up and restocking of toilet paper.

Question 12

Do you have wheelchair-accessible units?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Accessible units with a wider door, level entry and grab rails are available for public events and any site that needs to meet accessibility requirements.

Question 13

Can I hire just one toilet?

Accepted Answer

Yes — there's no minimum quantity. We hire single units for home functions, small garden parties and one-day jobs.

Question 14

Do your shower units have hot water?

Accepted Answer

Yes — mobile shower cubicles run hot water via a geyser or in-line heater. We confirm the power and water arrangement for your site before delivery.

Question 15

What if there's no water or sewer connection?

Accepted Answer

Units can run off on-board or bowser tanks, and our tankers remove waste and grey water on an agreed schedule. No site plumbing needed.

Question 16

How does septic tank pumping work?

Accepted Answer

Our honeysucker tanker arrives with crew and suction equipment, empties the tank, and disposes of the waste legally at a licensed facility. A disposal certificate is available on request.

Question 17

How often should a septic tank be pumped?

Accepted Answer

For a typical household, every two to three years; guesthouses, restaurants and site conservancy tanks need it far more often. If you're getting slow drains or odours, it's due.

Question 18

What temperature do your mobile fridges hold?

Accepted Answer

Our refrigerated trailers hold chilled temperatures for catering, produce, flowers and beverages, and we set the unit to your requirement before delivery. Tell us what you're storing and we'll confirm the range.

Question 19

Do mobile fridges need power on site?

Accepted Answer

Yes — a standard plug point is normally enough. Where there's no power we can quote a generator with the unit so it runs uninterrupted.

Question 20

Can I hire a fridge for one day only?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Single-day hire for functions and weekends is common; longer hires move to weekly and monthly rates.

Question 21

What trailers do you hire out?

Accepted Answer

General-purpose and specialised hire trailers including water tanker trailers, plus our refrigerated and ablution trailer fleet. See the trailer hire page for the current range.

Question 22

How do I confirm a booking?

Accepted Answer

Accept the written quote and we schedule the delivery. For event work we recommend confirming as early as possible — VIP trailers book out on peak wedding and festival weekends.

Question 23

Is a deposit required?

Accepted Answer

For event hires we usually confirm the booking against a deposit, with the balance due before or on delivery. Account customers are invoiced per their agreed terms. Your quote states the exact arrangement.

Question 24

What happens if my event is cancelled or postponed?

Accepted Answer

Let us know as early as you can. We do our best to move the booking to your new date rather than lose it — cancellation terms are set out in our terms and conditions.

Question 25

What if a unit has a problem during the hire?

Accepted Answer

Call or WhatsApp us on 076 564 8963 and we respond. Faults on our equipment are our problem to solve — we service, repair or swap the unit.
